Ingredients:
- 2 Honeybush tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose Honeybush tea)
- 500 ml water
- 60 ml gin (for cocktail option)
- 30 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- Sparkling water (for mocktail)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Brew Honeybush tea: Boil the water and steep the Honeybush tea bags or loose tea for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags or strain and let the tea cool completely.
- Prepare the cocktail/mocktail base: In a shaker or glass, combine the cooled Honeybush tea, fresh lemon juice, honey or agave syrup, and ice. Stir or shake well until mixed.
- For the cocktail: Add 60 ml gin to the mixture and stir again. Pour into a glass filled with ice.
