Meet Jo-Anne Fourie, SAHTA Director – Team Leader: Marketing.
I became involved in the Honeybush industry in 2022, with a focus on introducing Honeybush retail tea boxes to shops along the Garden Route.
I’m a mom to two young boys, a wife, and someone who has truly found her passion in sales and marketing through my work at The Honeybush Company.
As a SAHTA Director, my role centers on marketing — ensuring that we receive and share relevant, engaging information on our social media platforms to raise awareness and drive interest. I believe that through targeted marketing we can create better awareness and generate valuable leads for our members.
My vision for 2026 is to help our members gain visibility and real commercial value from our marketing efforts. Personally, I aim to learn as much as I can about the Honeybush industry and contribute meaningfully to its growth.
My hope for Honeybush is that it will one day be as sought after as Rooibos — a staple in every household. It’s important for people to know that Honeybush is not just a tea, but a versatile, sustainably sourced ingredient with incredible potential both locally and globally.
