Honeybush Iced Tea & Citrus Cooler

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 4 Honeybush tea bags
  • 1 litre boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 small orange, thinly sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: sparkling water (for a fizzy twist)

👩‍🍳 How to Prepare:

  1. Brew the Honeybush
        Steep 4 Honeybush tea bags in 1 litre of boiling water for 8–10 minutes to extract full flavour and antioxidants.

     

  2. Sweeten Naturally
        Remove tea bags and stir in honey while the tea is still warm so it dissolves properly.

     

  3. Add Citrus
        Stir in freshly squeezed orange and lemon juice.

     

  4. Chill
        Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours.

     

  5. Serve
        Pour over ice, add orange slices and mint leaves for garnish.
        Optional: top with a splash of sparkling water for a refreshing summer cooler.
